Chemical Treatment is a key stage in almost any wastewater treatment process. It can be used as both a pre-treatment and a complete treatment process, depending on the waste water.
The content of the waste water being treated will determine the chemical balance required to improve it before discharge, meaning there is no set combination of chemicals which will produce high quality effluent.
The chemical process involves destabilizing wastewater particles so that they agglomerate during chemical flocculation. Fine solid particles dispersed in wastewater carry electric surface charges (in their normal stable state), which prevent them from forming larger groups rendering further settlement or flotation process ineffective.
All of our chemical pre-treatment and mixing vessels are designed and fabricated to suite the individual need for each waste water stream ensuring optimum and cost effective chemical usage.
