For a previous client, we undertook a project to design and manufacture a customized dissolved air flotation (DAF) unit tailored to their specific needs, with the capacity to treat up to 75,000 litres per hour of wastewater. However, due to the urgency of the situation requiring immediate action, we devised an interim solution to address their wastewater treatment needs during the design & build phase.
This interim solution involved the rental of two of our Model 20 skid mounted DAF units, running in parallel, which were capable of collectively treating up to 80,000 litres per hour. These model 20 units were commissioned to operate in a duty assist configuration to maximise efficiency and throughput capacity, thereby ensuring optimal treatment performance. By deploying these interim units, we were able to provide the client with a temporary but effective solution while the bespoke DAF unit was being constructed and prepared for installation.
This approach allowed the client to continue their standard production operations without disruption, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining environmental responsibility. Once the bespoke DAF unit was completed and ready for operation, it seamlessly replaced the interim units, providing the client with a permanent, tailored solution to meet their specific requirements.
